What is the difference between the Puraclenz Photon models?Updated a month ago

Choosing the Right Puraclenz Photon Model

Puraclenz Photon air purifiers all use our patented next-generation PCO technology to actively clean air by emitting purifying ions. However, not all spaces are alike—and neither are our models. Here's how they compare and how to select the best fit for your environment.

🏠 How Much Space Does Each Model Cover?

ModelMax Coverage AreaSpace Example
Photon 750Up to 750 sq. ft.~Two 2-car garages / Large bedroom
Photon 1500Up to 1,500 sq. ft.Open floor plan home, conference room
Photon 3000Up to 3,000 sq. ft.Large gym, open-plan office, entire basement

Note: Coverage is situational. Ion distribution is affected by walls, doors, and furniture. Purifying ions do not travel through solid surfaces.

🔊 How Loud Is Each Model?

ModelNoise LevelComparable Sound
Photon 75042 ± 2 dBA @ 3 ftLight hum (very quiet)
Photon 150048 ± 2 dBA @ 3 ftDishwasher or white noise
Photon 300054 ± 2 dBA @ 3 ftAir conditioner (noticeable background hum)

Important: Fan speed is not adjustable. Noise levels reflect optimized airflow for each unit’s target area.

Which Model is Best for Me?

EnvironmentRecommended Model(s)
Bedroom, hotel room, small officePhoton 750 (quiet, compact)
Open-plan home, meeting roomPhoton 1500 (balanced power and noise)
Gym, basement, school, senior facilityPhoton 3000 (powerful, use where noise is fine)
