Multi-step process recommendationsUpdated a month ago

Step 1: Remediate

If you have a significant mold problem, Puraclenz strongly recommends professional remediation as the first step. Be aware that remediation efforts can spread mold spores into the air. We recommend running your Puraclenz purifier continuously for at least seven days before remediation begins, and continuously thereafter, to help prevent mold from returning.

Step 2: Dehumidify

Mold thrives in humid environments. To stop its growth, you should reduce the humidity in the room to below 60%. A small, inexpensive humidistat can help you measure the humidity level in each room. After a flood or a leak, it is crucial to dry out or remove damp items as quickly as possible.

Step 3: Puraclenz

Even after professional remediation, mold spores will inevitably return. Puraclenz's patented Recharge Cell® technology proactively deactivates mold1 spores in the air and on exposed surfaces. This stops the spores from forming new mold colonies. Our technology is designed to be run 24/7 to maintain the highest possible concentration of purifying ions.

In independent laboratory testing, the Photon purifier was 99.75% effective at reducing Candida albicans from surfaces and 95.1% effective at reducing Aspergillus brasiliensis in the air.
