Lamp ReplacementUpdated a month ago

To maintain your purifier's performance, it's essential to replace the key components on a regular schedule. Your purifier's indicator lights will notify you when it's time for a replacement.

The UV lamp indicator light should remain off during normal use. It will turn red when the lamp has reached the end of its life (after approximately 20,000 hours of operation) and needs to be replaced immediately.

To replace your lamp:

  1. Unplug the purifier.

  2. Unlock the base by sliding the lock to the left.

  3. Lift the top of the unit and remove the filter.

  4. Remove the black UV housing from the center.

  5. Pull up on the base of the old UV lamp to remove it.

  6. When handling the new lamp, only touch the white base. Align the pins and place it back into the socket. The pins are designed to fit only one way.

  7. Reinstall the black UV housing and the filter.

  8. Re-align the top of the unit with the base and slide the lock back to the right.

  9. Press and hold the UV lamp button for 5 seconds to reset the timer. The red light will turn off.

Warning: Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is dangerous to eyes and skin. Never look at the lamp when it's on. Only replace it with Puraclenz Model #R0011.

Note: Always unplug your unit before servicing it.
