How are standard HEPA purifiers limited in treating mycotoxins?Updated a month ago
While standard HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) purifiers are effective at capturing airborne particles like dust and mold spores, they have two key limitations:
They only address airborne contaminants and do not neutralize toxins or pathogens that have settled on surfaces.
They do not chemically alter or destroy mycotoxins; they simply trap them, leaving the toxins active within the filter.
